"In order to find yourself in places you've never been , you must travel your own path, even when you don't know exactly where it will lead." -Shannon Ables

Life is super busy and it can seem like we rarely have time to focus on a thousand different aspects of our life to change all at once.

Sometimes we are put into moods from unprecedented situations; but only temporary. Implementing a healthy daily morning routine can uplift your mindset and spirits so you can move on into a more productive day.. because why shouldn't you wake up in your best mood everyday?
Here below are 9 small morning habits that will make your day so much better according to Harvard clinical psychologist.

1. Start Each Day with an attitude of Gratitude

Gratitude improves ones outlook on life. Your life is full of abundance in more ways than you may think they are. Taking the time each day to appreciate what you have can make you feel more optimistic , increase your self-confidence and propels your vision to see more open windows of opportunity.

Whether tangible or intangible gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions throughout the day which in return improves our health , builds strong relationships and deal with adversity.

2. Plan The Day Before To Do Something Fun or creative

Have a plan to do something you love everyday. Following our passions is the key to bringing true happiness into our own lives. We all still have that inner child inside of us. Everyone has their own artistic ability , simple enjoyment So tap into that inner child voice that's telling you to try something new. Planning and following through makes us feel as if we have a sense of belonging.  Thoughtful planning allows you to focus on the task that is important to you. Everyone was meant to create something to give back to the world.

3. Write down Goals

Clarify your goals to yourself by writing them down daily. When you clearly acknowledge what it is you want the faster you will get it. Start the day off writing down an exact number of the amount of money you want to make or how much weight you want to lose. There is no secret trick , our thoughts lead to actions and what you practice you become.

Believe in yourself and you're halfway there.

4. Put off checking your phone and social media

We all know our phones are useful in so many ways. Sometimes our phone can be a big distraction and source of procrastination when we really want and need to focus on something other things.

I found that I had a bad habit of waking up and scrolling through messages ,social media next thing you know I've been sucked into the internet vortex for hours.

At first I found it hard not to go scrolling through Instagram before getting out of bed in the morning. I had to get into the habit of waking up and getting my body moving without lingering in bed on my phone. I found that doing that allowed me to shift my focus throughout the day on the work I planned to produce.

5. Meditate

I'm sure you've heard this one before. Well your hearing it again. At first it was hard for me to believe the powerful effects meditation has over the mind. Daily meditation is like mindset renewal. During each session not only is your body physically relaxed; you take the time to concentrate on what is important and  release the things that are weighing you down.

Daily meditation is a habit performed by multiple successful millionaires.

6.(Morning Pages) Write down in a daily Journal

Write down your goals and what is important to you daily. It is important to write. Writing clears your thoughts throughout the day and focuses in on what is actually important to you.

You are left with feelings of clarity having written them out on a piece of paper. Writing is also the equivalent to manifestation. The more you write , the more

7. Always Make Your Bed
As McCraven mentioned in his book Make Your Bed: Little Things Can Change Your Life.. and Maybe The World ;If you make your bed in the morning , you've accomplished the first task of the day. It will give you a small sense of  pride and encourage you to do another task and another. By the end of the day the task will be complete ,followed by many others.

8. GET MOVING !
Activate your body.
Not only is working out good for your body but it also sends the very satisfying signals of accomplishment to your brain. Fun fact he body is built to move and exert energy, and when we do so, the repairing happens in your sleep. The night after a morning workout, the body releases hormones to help you stay in deep sleep cycles so that your muscles can repair.

It doesn’t matter if you start your morning regimen with a run, walk, or a few stretches and meditation. If you stick with it, those stretches turn into walks, walks turn into runs and that mile can multiply into miles. The benefits of your morning exercise will be evident throughout your first
