7 Keys to Mastering Positive Thoughts

1. Start The Day With Positive Affirmations

How you start your day sets the tone for the rest of the day. Say your affirmations as soon as you wake up and your mind will begin to believe and set into motion the positive affirmations in your thoughts throughout the day. 


2. Focus On The Good Things 

  Gratitude is one of my favorite words. Its keeps you away from negative thoughts and comparing your life to others. Yes life may try to find a way to weigh us down causing us to stress , doubt and worry. It is important to remember that negative feelings are only temporary. Those so called short comings only count if you think they count. Focus on where you are now and do not forget where you want to be at the end. Continue to visualize as you step over every curve in the road.





3. Trust Your Instincts

    You may have some doubts about your capabilities. All I can say is trust yourself. Listen to your own inner voice and your soul. Too many people listen to the noise of the world instead of themselves. You know what you want so let no one decide what's best for YOU.



4. FAITH Is A Requirement

Faith is a requirement for success. In the game of life you have to have something to believe in. If you have no belief that a power greater than your own is helping to guide you in the right direction. Your thoughts may begin to flood with doubt and constant fear. When you have faith , fear doesn't exist. You have to have faith and deep determination to go after what it is you want in life.

5. Turn Failures Into Lessons



"Sometimes temporary feels like an eternity , but it's still temporary. Never place permanence on your situation because a resolution seems far away or because happiness seems out of reach. this phase will pass once you learn" - iambrillyant

    Just because you failed at something dose not make you a failure. When trying something new think of it as an experiment. If its your first time of course you are going to make mistakes! However you are going to learn so much from  Sure you don't want to feel disappointed and no one plans on being rejected but rejection is apart of life. What could be worse than failing? Not asking , trying or attempting to go after it at all. 


6. Focus On The Present Moment

Both living too far ahead in the future and being stuck in your past increases anxiety and stress. Many things in life will scare you. Don't psych yourself out of doing something by overthinking to far ahead in the future. Meditation really does help with balancing your mind ..body and spirit to focus on the present moment.

Living in the present moment keeps you focused on what is right in front of you. You always have the power to change your circumstances whether it be reaching your weight goal , career goals , savings goals. Focus on taking it one day at a time and again never compare your journey to anyone else's.


7. STOP All Criticism

You are You and that is okay. Everyone has their own purpose on this planet. Everyone has their own destination and their own journey. Always come from a place of love ;starting with yourself and the way you talk to yourself. Think right towards others and you will start to see the world through a positive lenses where only exciting and positive things attract to you. Accept yourself exactly as you are. everyone changes but when you criticize yourself your changes become negative. "Your mind is like a garden nurture and plant the seeds with positive thoughts.
